Brief Interviews with Hideous Men
Friday, September 25 - Thursday, October 22, 2009
John Krasinski of The Office makes his directorial debut with a provocative, darkly comic adaptation of David Foster Wallace’s exploration of the nature of men. When her boyfriend leaves her, an anthropology grad student finds herself looking for answers. She devises a new research project to remedy both her heartache and her academic challenges and begins conducting a series of interviews with a range of male subjects. But as she records their astonishing and disquieting experiences, she discovers much more about men — and herself — than she bargained for.
