Longtime collaborator Steve Buscemi (Living in Oblivion, Delirious, Double Whammy) joins director Tom DiCillo to present DiCillo’s latest film, DOWN IN SHADOWLAND, a hauntingly beautiful hybrid of the documentary form made over the course of eight years and motivated by a fascination with the secret lives of people on the subway. The roving yet unobtrusive camera mingles with the denizens of this subterranean microcosm and discovers an emotional and poetic truth.
