Protecting Truth.”—claims to offer a safer alternative to guns in law enforcement, and the company’s M26 model has been the weapon of choice for police departments throughout the country since 1999. But as the number of taser-related death continues to climb, this incisive look at a “humane” weapon reminds us that it’s not just lethal force that needs to be regulated, but the behavior and bias with which it’s wielded as well.
