Gael García Bernal and Michelle Williams star in this Berlin Film Festival hit, the eagerly-anticipated English-language debut from Lukas Moodysson (Together, Show Me Love). Leo and Ellen are successful New Yorkers with an 8 year-old who sees more of her nanny, Gloria, than her own parents. Gloria, for her part, is working to build a better life for the young sons she left behind in the Philippines. When Leo’s business calls him away to Thailand, however, he sets off a chain of events that will change all their lives irrevocably.
