Fort Greene artist Freddy (writer-director Silva, Crystal Fairy) enlists his best friend (Kristen Wiig) to have a baby with his boyfriend (TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe). But as they begin the process of creating their picture-perfect modern Brooklyn family, a neighborhood eccentric becomes a menacing presence in their lives. Winner of the Teddy Award for Best Gay Film at the Berlin International Film Festival, Silva’s transgressive genre-bender defies expectations to build to a shocking conclusion.
