Ten years after his acclaimed winemaking documentary Mondovino, Nossiter’s new film looks at the Italian vanguard of a rapidly spreading European natural wine revolution—from a couple growing grains and fruit that harken back to the ancient Etruscans, to farmer-poet Stefano Bellotti, the Pasolini of Italian agriculture, whose radical farm in the Piedmont upends the established rules of agriculture.
