What are pink films? Japan’s unique genre of bizarre, softcore porn films that are all shot on 35mm in about 3 days and released theatrically, they’re an analog holdout in a digital world. Tons of great directors got their start shooting pink because producers just don’t care what’s on film as long as there’s enough sex. The result? Some of the weirdest movies you’ll ever see. This year we’re screening GROPER TRAIN: SCHOOL UNIFORM HUNTER and JAPANESE WIFE NEXT DOOR, PART 2 a sequel to last year’s crowd-pleaser.
