For twenty five years, Shannon has been making shorts that poignantly satirize life in the city, with her inimitable physical comedy.  She has captured characters from all walks of life and every social situation imaginable.  Her work has been showcased domestically and internationally, including at MoMa, Smack Mellon, Sara Meltzer Gallery, Berlin and Rotterdam Film Festivals, and in Macy’s windows.

Chopped Liver is Shannon’s six part web series, each episode features a notable co-star that Shannon directs as an accomplice to her unique brand of comedy.  Excerpts from the series are playing in our Short Attention Span Cinema at IFC Center, through October 25.
