Monday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m.: Screening on 35mm with an introduction by programmers Elizabeth Purchell and KJ Shepherd
Someone loves Emily… too much! After enduring a bizarre assault at the hands of a stranger, Emily (Talia Shire) finds comfort and friendship in her neighbor, Andrea (Elizabeth Ashley). Shaken by the fact that her abuser still walks the streets, Emily soon finds out that there’s more to her friend than meets the eye. The sole directorial effort from legendary cinematographer Gordon Willis, WINDOWS is one of the most unusual—and controversial—queer films of the 80s.
