Rough Cut
Tuesday, June 23 - Wednesday, June 24, 2009
Introduced by actor So Ji-seob! Under-promising and over-delivering, this action blockbuster feels like a summer hit, only one from Steven Soderbergh instead of Steven Spielberg. A spoiled movie star injures his co-star and no one wants to appear onscreen with him, so he recruits an actual gangster to appear in his latest movie. What ensues is a testosterone-filled battle for male supremacy. There can be only one! Written by Kim Ki-Duk this movie is smart and subtle, but still full of busted knuckles and wounded male egos.
