In a Paris airport Hilton, American businessman Gary Newman (The Good Wife’s Josh Charles) abruptly decides to leave his job, wife and family behind. In the same hotel, Audrey (rising French star Anaïs Demoustier) works as a maid, trying to keep up with her job amid bouts of daydreaming. A portrait of two seemingly mundane lives that turn magically extraordinary, Ferran’s kaleidoscopic, stylistically audacious film (her first since 2006’s acclaimed Lady Chatterley) is a fairy tale for the 21st century.
