Saturday, November 13 - Sunday, November 14, 2010
Winner of the Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival, Racing Dreams has been described as “The Catcher in the Rye meets Talledega Nights.” Academy-Award nominated filmmaker, Marshall Curry, takes us into the hilarious and heart-breaking lives of two boys and a girl, 11-13 years old, who race extreme go karts in the Little League for professional racing. Clocking speeds of up to 70 mph, these young drivers compete for the National Championship and also navigate the treacherous road between childhood and young adulthood.
