An inventor, used-car salesman and amateur treasure hunter, Lance Larson may have stumbled upon the finds of his life: two priceless caches of WWII loot stolen over 60 years ago by two young American soldiers. With the former G.I.s now ailing old men, they need Lance’s help to reclaim their lost treasures, buried on opposite sides of the world. So with time, distance and the odds against him, Lance throws himself into their dubious quests to unearth the past, laying bare family secrets and dark wartime histories in the process.
