Director Larry Fessenden and cast members in person!
In celebration of the 30 year anniversary of Glass Eye Pix and the 20th anniversary of the film, IFC Center presents a special screening of HABIT in a new digital transfer. Larry Fessenden’s seminal New York Vampire film was nominated for 2 Spirit Awards and winner of the Someone to Watch Award.
Autumn in New York. Sam has broken up with his girlfriend and his father has recently died. World-weary and sloppy drunk, he finds temporary solace in the arms of Anna, a mysterious woman who draws him away from his friends and into a web of addiction and madness.
“Vivid … As evocative of New York-style paranoia as BAD LIEUTENANT, ROSEMARY’S BABY, or TAXI DRIVER.” – Amy Taubin, Village Voice
“Literate, funny, and creepier than anything you’ll find at the multiplex, HABIT leaves you exhilarated.” – Elizabeth Weitzman, Interview
“Haunting… Fessenden is a talent to watch.” – Roger Ebert
