Inner Demon

Tuesday, April 2 - Wednesday, April 3, 2024

Recorded introdution by director Ursula Dabrowsky with in-person introduction by Caryn Coleman of The Future of Film is Female on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.!

“Ursula Dabrowsky elevates the serial killer genre in her second feature film, INNER DEMON.
Home alone one night, a teenager named Sam (Sarah Jeavons) and her young sister are
abducted by killers from their own home. Sam manages to escape only to find herself trapped in
the isolated farmhouse of the killers where a malevolent force also lurks. By tapping into the
omniscient deep rooted fears of women and safety while inserting the supernatural, the film
embodies the powerful idea of young women as superheros. While there’s ultimately no happy
ending, this is a gritty talehat powerfully combines unimaginable horror with real world terror.” – Caryn Coleman
