In this icy, unsettling thriller, Montreal residents are riveted by the sensational murder trial of alleged serial killer Ludovic Chevalier. Most invested is fashion model Kelly-Anne (Juliette Gariépy), who spends all of her time at the courthouse or home, researching Chevalier’s crimes. Her lonely, semi-monastic life changes when she takes in a fellow trial groupie who claims to be in love with Chevalier, but when new details in the case emerge and the accused killer takes the stand, Kelly-Anne’s true motivations are revealed.
