The Cruise
Friday, October 11 - Thursday, November 14, 2024
Saturday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m.: Q&A with director Bennett Miller moderated by film critic Jordan Hoffman
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Bennett Miller (Capote, Foxcatcher) first made a name for himself with his debut–a beautiful, black and white documentary portrait of a true New York original. Newly remastered for its 25th Anniversary, THE CRUISE returns to the big screen looking better than ever – a love letter to NYC and its most eccentric tourguide, Timothy “Speed” Levitch, who sails the streets of Manhattan atop a double-decker bus, sharing an archive of beautifully distorted information about the city.
