To celebrate, Joel has picked four killer midnight movies that have inspired his bracingly original body of work. Featuring Crispin Glover, the “craziest” Mad Max, a seriously underrated horror sequel, and the movie that made Joel want to become a filmmaker.

VULCANIZADORA opens May 2 at IFC Center.

The Friday screening of THE BEAVER TRILOGY will be introduced by Joel Potrykus.
